Whistler

Whistler Village is nestled in a valley between Whistler and Blackcomb mountains in British Columbia. Located in the southwestern Canada, it possesses unique climate conditions for a mountain skiing resort. In winter, temperatures are mild, ranging from -8 C to +3 C in January, with occasional unusually cold or warm days. Exceptional weather conditions and first-rate care of slopes also create a very long skiing season – Whistler resort is open to snowboarders and skiers from mid-November to the end of May, and true enthusiasts can also enjoy glacier skiing until the end of June!

In 2010 Whistler proved to be an excellent host for one of the most spectacular and highly anticipated sport events – the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. Now that the Games are over, visitors of Whistler have a unique opportunity to ski and snowboard where Olympic athletes fought for glory and medals in 2010.
